Papa et Bibi Chat

Papa et Bibi Chat, originally uploaded by MlleHyena.

My Dad was diagnosed 2 days ago with a bone cancer called Myelome in french. I don't even have the words in english to express how sad I am and how furious too. I will do everything I can and even more to help my dad fight that disease.

This guy here is a wonderful person, and I am not saying that just because he is my dad.
It really depressed me to be far away from him. I will be in France in 2 weeks.

I can tell he is a really cool guy. His energy in this photo, the kitty, the garden setting all have really good energy. He and you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers for healing and happiness.

Thank you all for the good thoughts.

Chris and Gina, everything I know about tolerance, my love of animals and nature, I own it to my Dad.

I feel so awful and I am so sorry for him...It hurts so much... Never I have thought about that, he could have a cancer. We always were worried about him smoking so much. He had a lung x-ray. He has nothing at all, the x-ray was all clear! Maybe because he smoke rolled tobacco and not the usual cigarette.

I can't wait to be in France with him...These 2 weeks will be awful to wait. Especially his stay at the hospital next week.

So sorry to hear you and your dad have to go through this. That picture is wonderful. He has a very wise look about him. Sending healing thoughts his way and hugs to you as you go through this with him.

Oh, shit. I'm so, so sorry. He looks like a really wonderful person -- I can almost see the twinkle in his eye!

I lost both my parents to cancer, so my heart goes out to you, and I'm tearing up right now.

It's called myeloma in English (or multiple myeloma, depends?). A cancer of the blood.

And depending, he can have a remission for quite a while, with treatment and a good response.

So I am very hopeful for you, that he comes through OK. Still, it's so horrid to have to go through everything as it is.

Thank you so much my friends for your support. I am about to post another blog about my Dad. But your support here and everywhere online means so much to me.

Astrid, yes I found out today it was Myeloma in english. His cancer is multiple, but doesn't derive from another one, so it is a primary cancer. More in my new post.Hugs back to you.
